Ah, the annual Christmas party. That magical time when our workplace transforms from a well-oiled machine of productivity into a time to reflect on our success and enjoy great food and funny shenanigans. This year, we went all out, hosting an event so memorable that will be hard to beat in the years ahead.
Sweater Weather Gone Wild
First, let’s talk about the ugly sweater contest. Now, this wasn’t your average collection of mildly tacky reindeer and uninspired snowflakes. Oh no, our associates came prepared, and the competition was fierce. We had Santa riding a reindeer, a sweater shaped like a Christmas tree, to one so bright it caused three smartphones to recalibrate their screens. We were impressed with the creativity and enjoyed them all.
Cash is King
Speaking of prizes, this party wasn’t just about festive attire and holiday cheer; it was also about cash incentives. With our order accuracy rate being above 99.95% in October, November, and December, that meant associates earned their 4th quarter bonus. Additionally, our “Ideas for Cash” contest gave us some great things to implement so that our clients can have an even better fulfillment experience. This is FSI’s continuous improvement program that encourages and rewards our employees for submitting their ideas for making FSI better. As great as we are already, there’s always room for improvement. And what better way to find ways to improve than to get them from the employees who do it every day.
Congratulations to Daryl Gramling for winning the Idea of the Year award, back-to-back, in 2023 and 2024.
Caroling
For some added fun, we brought in some carolers from who were dressed in Victorian Charles Dickens themed costumes. They performed a capella singing our favorite Christmas carols that the employees had a hand in picking out. See if you can pick out the FSI employee in the group and who are the actual professional singers.
A Toast to Teamwork
By the end of the festivities, one thing was clear: this wasn’t just a party. It was a celebration of the people who make Fulfillment Strategies International great. From the warehouse associates to the customer service team to the managers who somehow keep it all together, we’re more than coworkers—we’re a family. A slightly dysfunctional, overly competitive, sweater-obsessed family; but a family, nonetheless. So, here’s to another year of fulfilled orders and dreams. May your packages always arrive on time, and may your sweaters always be ugly enough to win. Merry Christmas!
